Day 1, Science

New findings in interventional radiology

It is no novelty that in interventional radiology, therapies are carried out with instruments of a thickness of a few millimetres and specific diagnosis can be hugely simplified. Very gentle procedures have been possible, in which a local anaesthetic is sufficient and have therefore offered amazing alternatives to complex operations. The side effect is of course also to avoid unnecessary stress on the patients. This lecture will present the latest developments and findings in this field.
