Second opinion procedure by means of telemedicine
Doctors who provide their legally insured patients with indications must inform them about the possibility of obtaining a second opinion if an intervention is required, which is listed in the directive of the Joint Federal Committee. Since this is a fairly new regulation, it will continue to increase interdisciplinary. This new regulation also makes it possible to receive a second opinion via telemedicine (e. g. video consultation), thus creating completely new possibilities with the communication of a doctor, which we would like to present in this lecture.
